This is a really cool toy that, whilst being creative doesn't have a lot to do with fibre.

I have one of the small inexpensive kaleidoscopes that can be bought at yarn (if they sell spinning wheels) and quilting stores. It is great tool for looking at different colored fibers together before blending spinning it up.
